What parents are saying about Louise:
For the past couple of years, Louise has supported our daughter, advocated for her, and has helped her become a more confident and fluent reader who can now enjoy the pleasure of reading.
Parent, Elementary Student
We are so grateful for Louise and the difference she has made in our daughter’s life.
Our daughter is dyslexic and began working with Louise in 4th grade. She is now in 8th grade, and the growth we’ve seen has been incredible.
Louise has helped her understand how she learns, given her tools that truly work for her, and most importantly, helped build her confidence.
Louise is very patient, encouraging, and genuinely cares about her students. She has been such an important part of our daughter’s journey, and we can’t recommend her enough.
Parent, Middle School Student
My child with ADHD, ASD and dysgraphia, who was struggling with writing assignments, is doing much better with his schoolwork under Louise’s tutelage.
We very much appreciate her warmth, care and professionalism in their sessions.
Student's Parent
Louise has not only helped to fill in the many skills my daughter was missing but has helped her to understand how she learns best and has contributed to building her self-esteem around these areas. Louise is someone who looks at the whole student and sees them for who they are to nurture their growth.
She also goes above and beyond, often calling to check in outside of lessons to strategize how best to plan future lessons.
Louise has been one of my daughter's biggest educational advocates and for that I'm truly grateful.
Student's Parent
Louise’s work has been invaluable to us as a family. Our son had cognitive difficulties: he was absent minded, forgetful, and had difficulty focusing.
Louise was vital in us finally seeing our son's struggle with executive functioning skills. She is an expert in her field and went out of her way to help us in a persistent, professional, caring and compassionate manner. She kept providing information and resources via email and conversations with us.
Our son is now acknowledging that he needs to seek and accept help to be successful with his goals. Louise helped make him accountable in his commitments by pointing out what he was avoiding and supported him in starting to learn about ADHD. She also assisted him with identifying some specific resources available at college.
